Lady ‘Toppers Close Regular Season With Win Over ‘Betsy

Science Hill closed the 2024 regular season with freshman Chloe Conner leading the way to an 8-0 win over Elizabethton at Kiwanis Park.

Conner got the start in the circle and worked the complete game, scattering eight hits and striking out five.

Conner also picked up two hits at the plate along with battery-mate Kaylee Pickering (2-for-2) and Maddie Diamond (2-for-3).

Diamond also walked, swiped a pair of bases and drove in three runs. Pickering and Conner both also walked and batted in two. Malia Maroukas doubled and drove in another.

Mollie Johnson went 3-for-4 for the Lady Cyclones with Emma O’Quinn also collecting a pair of hits. Lela Byrd drove in all three Elizabethton runs.
